ALBION star Jeremy Sarmiento’s father is happy with the way the club have looked after his son.

Sarmiento has picked up a hamstring injury and is expected to be out of action for the following three to four months.

The forward picked up the injury during Albion’s draw against West Ham United on Wednesday night.

It has been reported that the player has undergone surgery to help his recovery from the injury.

Sarmiento’s dad, Holger, talking to Area Deportiva FM rado said:“Thank God we are in good hands. Lamptey had a similar injury, they treated him with the best doctors.

“I sent a statement to the FEF (the Ecuadorean FA), unfortunately we will not be in the games against Brazil and Peru.

“There is no rush here, here the players play when they should play.”

Sarmiento picked up the injury during his fill Premier League debut, having only joined the club in the summer from Portuguese side Benfica.
