GRAHAM Potter's Albion side will take on West Bromwich Albion in the FA Cup third round.

Albion were drawn against the Baggies during the FA Cup draw which took place before Boreham Wood's second round tie against St Albans.

The fixture will be played at the West Brom ground, The Hawthorns.

Last season Albion won their third round match against Newport County via a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw in south Wales.

Potter's side then beat Blackpool in the fourth round of the competition 2-1 with goals from Yves Bissouma and Steven Alzate on either side of a Gary Madine goal.

Albion's best finish in the FA Cup was in 1983 after the team made the final of the competition.

The team, coached by Jimmy Melia, forced Manchester United to a replay of the final after a 2-2 draw thanks to goals from Gordan Smith and Gary Stevens.

The Red Devils went on to win the replay 4-0 with goals from Bryan Robson, Norman Whiteside and Arnold Muhren.
