Albion have been told to get some rest after a tough week.

But Graham Potter says they will relish the challenge of the FA Cup on Saturday.

The Seagulls picked up seven points in eight days, culminating in a late rearguard action to protect a well-deserved lead at Everton.

They go to West Bromwich Albion in the third round of the cup on Saturday.

Head coach Potter said: “They have put a lot in over a week.

“It has been a heavy week so we will need a couple days to recover and refocus and recharge for an important game in the FA Cup at the weekend.

“We’re in a good moment and good place but the guys will take the time to recover and be ready.”

Solly March, who scored in the third round last season, Shane Duffy and Pascal Gross would appear prime candidates for playing time at the Hawthorns, along with back-up goalkeeper Jason Steele.
