Under-23s striker Ulrick Eneme Ella went on as sub for Gabon in their 1-0 win over Comoros.
Eneme Ella joined the action in the 66th minute with his team already ahead.
He was required for action after leading striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was ruled out having tested positive for Covid-19.
Eneme Ella, a powerfully built 20-year-old, was born in France and joined the Seagulls from Amiens.
He headed a late equaliser for Albion under-23s when they grabbed a 1-1 draw with Manchester City this season.

Yves Bissouma will also hope to make a winning start with Mali tomorrow when they play Tunisia.
