Graham Potter has played down the chances of major signings this month.

Albion will be without defender Lewis Dunk (knee) and Shane Duffy (ankle) at home to Chelsea tonight (8pm, BT Sport).

Adam Lallana (hamstring) is also likely to miss out.

Potter remains happy with a squad which has propelled Albion into the top half of the Premier League.

The Albion head coach said: “You’re always active, you’re always looking to see if anyone is out there who could help the group, but we’re not desperate.

“My job at the moment is to focus on the group. We’ve got games coming up.

“We’ve got some good competition, some good players coming back from injury, so I don’t see anyone in particular coming in, but you never know.”

Albion are understood NOT to be among the clubs looking to hire Christian Eriksen, who is of interest to Brentford as a free agent.

GRAHAM POTTER HAPPY AT BRIGHTON

Eriksen had his contract cancelled by Inter of Milan last month having been told he could not play in Serie A after being fitted with a type of pacemaker.

Potter sidestepped a question about the Danish star during his press conference ahead of the Chelsea game.
