Albion are through to the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup after shocking Manchester City.
The Seagulls’ under-18s won 1-0 at Lancing today.
Zak Emmerson scored the only goal of the tie.
His shot from just outside the area on 73 minutes was well struck and seemed to deceive the keeper.
The Seagulls stood firm in a tense finale to secure the win.
Goalkeeper Tommy Reid, who also currently plays for Burgess Hill on work experience, made a good save in the first half.
Albion will visit Accrington or Charlton in the fifth round.
