ALBION star Dan Burn believes that the defence at the club is one of the best in the Premier League.

Burn has been crucial to Albion’s success this season as Adam Webster, Lewis Dunk and Shane Duffy have all missed games through injury.

The 29-year-old defender has stepped up and become a mainstay in the centre of the defence which has only conceded 22 goals in the Premier League this season.

Only five other teams in the division have conceded fewer goals than Albion.
This record has helped the club climb into the top ten and have become one of the hardest sides to beat.

Talking about the defence Burn told the Argus: “I think it is massive, I think it is the area of the team that we have the most amount of competition.

“Friendly competition obviously, whoever plays you are happy for them.

“Outside of the top three clubs, I truly believe that we have one of the best defences in the league.

“The amount of work that we put in on and off the pitch starts to show.

“I think the more games that we play together the easier it will get as we will read what each other will do before they do it."
