Danny Welbeck has revealed his sense of deja vu after scoring at Leicester.

The substitute headed home a perfect Neal Maupay cross to save a point.

Welbeck told BBC Radio Sussex: “It was a great ball from Neal.

“Once I saw him lining up, it reminded me of last season.

“He did a cross for me like that against United at Old Trafford.

“I kind of replayed it in my head and I knew where the ball was going.

“Once it was in the air I knew it was going to be mine.”

Welbeck would have loved to have come home with a win.

He said: “We are a little bit disappointed not to get the three points because of the manner of the second half.

“That shows great character from the squad.
