One of Albion's exciting loan prospects has returned from a niggling injury.
Kaoru Mitoma played for Union St-Gilloise in a friendly this afternoon to confirm his recovery from an ankle injury.
He was part of a 3-2 victory over lower division KMSK Deinze in which Albion striker Deniz Undav scored the winner from the penalty spot.
Albion opted to keep Mitoma with USG in January but he suffered an injury in a friendly during a training camp in Spain.
The injury proved to be more troublesome than expected.
He was an unused sub at Charleroi at the weekend and is likely to feature on Saturday against Eupen, when strike pair Undav and Dante Vanzeir are both banned.
It would be his first league action since Boxing Day.
Mitoma is expected to get the chance to shine with Albion in pre-season this summer.
Kacper Kozlowski, who has had a minor injury of late, also played in the friendly today. He could be involved versus Eupen.
