TOTTENHAM Hotspur captain Hugo Lloris is expecting a "battle" against Albion as his side visits the Amex tonight.

Spurs are still hopeful of crashing into the Champions League spots, although they will have to be perfect in order to catch the teams ahead of them.

After losing to Manchester United on the weekend, Spurs are 8th in the Premier League and are six points off of Arsenal in fourth having played one more game than their North London rivals.

Although, Spurs do have two games in hand on Wolves, West Ham and Manchester United and winning those would push them up to 5th.

Lloris knows that his side is under pressure and need all the points they can get.

They will be taking on Albion, who are currently on a five game losing streak, and the French goalkeeper is expecting a tough match.

He said: "It’s time to prepare for the next game because Brighton is going to be another battle to deal with and we cannot lose any more points.”

In this fixture last season, Albion won the game thanks to a goal from Leandro Trossard.
