Lewes moved back into the play-off frame on the night they honoured a club legend.

Players and supporters stood to applaud Derrick Parris ahead of the 2-0 win at home to Margate.

Then goals from Joe Taylor and Razz Coleman De-Graft took Rooks back above Folkestone, who lost 3-2 at Horsham.

Lewes and Folkestone are level on 67 points in the Pitching In Isthmian premier division with Rooks occupying the last play-off place thanks to an advantage of two in the goal difference column.

Cheshunt are five points behind them but have two games in hand and host Lewes a week on Saturday.

Taylor swept home the opener from close range on 12 minutes after a corner had been headed on by both Will Salmon and Mitchell Nelson.

De-Graft added the second early in the second half with a super finish into the top corner after Juevan Spencer had sent him away.

Lewes paid tribute to life member Derrick Parris.

Derrick served both the club and supporters club for more than 50 years, initially as a player.

His sons Terry and Pip both scored hundreds of goals for the Rooks and Derrick was a regular watching them play.
