ALBION boss Graham Potter has admitted he wants his side to improve performances at home.

This season Albion have had a good record away from home and have only lost one away game to a top ten side in the Premier League.

That defeat was against Manchester United, in which Albion were much the better side until Lewis Dunk was sent off.

Overall the club's away form this season has been stellar, in fact Albion, ahead of their trip to the Etihad to take on Manchester City, would be sixth in the Premier League table if it were based on away performances.

At the Amex however, Albion have only won three of their sixteen home games and have the 18th worst record in the division.

The Argus: "Well, I think we had more possession than Spurs, more shots, more passes in the opposition's half, more goals.

"The challenge for us is to play well, and if we play well then we give ourselves a chance to win the game regardless of the opponent.

"Although some are clearly better than others, but it doesn't make a difference to us as it doesn't make it easier for us to win.

"As I have said before many a time, the Premier League is some tough and complicated wherever you go and when you play at home because the teams come with Premier League players and are really well organised and sometimes the role you play in the game can change.

"But last year we needed to improve our results against the teams around us, and I think we have done that quite well.

"Away from home we have been really, really good, but at home we have not been as good as we would have like at all, so that is an area that we need to do better and something that we have been thinking about and trying to fix."
