Grant Stewart will wear the number 99 for Sussex
SUSSEX have confirmed the signing of Grant Stewart on a one-month loan from Kent.
The right-arm fast-bowler made a name for himself during Kent’s promotion season in 2018, taking 6-22 against Middlesex, before following up with his maiden first-class century in the same game from just 73 balls.
Commenting on the new loan signing, Sussex’s Performance Director, Keith Greenfield said: “With the level of injuries we have in the squad currently, to be able to get a player of Grant’s all-round ability is fantastic.
“Especially as it will help to give balance to our side.”
Stewart will wear squad number 99 and is available for selection for the trip to Worcestershire tomorrow in the LV= Insurance County Championship.
