Albion remembered their greatest escape - as they enjoyed one of their greatest ever wins.
Stuart Storer, scorer of their final goal the Goldstone Ground, was presented woth the player of the season award for 1996-97.
The chaotic nature of the final weeks of that season 25 years ago meant the award was not presented at the time.
Club chairman Tony Bloom put that right at half-time in the 4-0 win over Manchester United.
Fans cheered Storer and three of his colleagues from the team which then drew at Hereford to secure Football League status - Ross Johnson, Kerry Mayo and goalkeeper Mark Ormerod.
