Moises Caicedo has been urged to build on his first Premier League goal.
The Ecuador international has been backed to become one of Abion’s most important players by midfield colleague Alexis Mac Allister.
Caicedo capped his second hone start by scoring from 25 yards as the Seagulls hammered Manchester United 4-0.
He earned high marks against the club who wanted to sign him, just as he has throughout his fledgling Prem career to date.
Mac Allister believes that first goal is a big moment for the 21-year-old.
He said: “Fantastic for him. It is about time now for him to become one of the most important players at the club.
“I am happy for him. Let’s see what comes now for him.”

- Mac Allister is aware of the adaptation process Caicedo has faced having joined Albion from Argentina.
Like Caicedo, he was sent out on loan initially and then had to bide him time on the bench.
He said: “To be honest, I struggled a little bit in the first year.
“Moises played his first five games like he is playing here for a long time.
“I am so happy for him. He is a good guy. He will keep improving.
“He is strong, he can score. He plays forward so he is a fantastic player.”
