ALBION striker Andi Zeqiri is attracting interest from Championship side Cardiff City, according to reports.

Zeqiri has spent this season on loan with Bundesliga side FC Augsburg, making 22 appearances in the league and scoring twice and assisting two goals.

His first goal for the club came against Borussia Dortmund in a match that would end in a 2-1 defeat in October.

The Swiss attacker helped his side avoid relegation with a game to spare.

Now, Zeqiri is being linked with a move to Welsh side Cardiff City by media outlet Wales Online.

Cardiff manager Steve Morison is expecting a busy summer transfer window, and is believed to be keen on strengthening his attacking options.

Zeqiri struggled to find the net at Albion on a regular basis, scoring only once in 13 appearances leading to his loan move to Germany.

The 22-year-old will return to Albion before a decision is made on his future, but it is likely he could go on another loan move as the club will have a lot of attackers next season.

Albion will have Deniz Undav, Neal Maupay, Leandro Trossard, Alexis Mac Allister and others to choose from.
