How Albion players rated in the 1-1 draw at Leeds.

ROBERT SANCHEZ 9/10

Struggled with an early corner but was excellent after that, capped by two superb saves along with his usual calm work on the ball.

JOEL VELTMAN 7/10

Looked like he took one where it hurts early on and that set the tone for a bruising afternoon as he did his customary solid shift on the right of a three, later a four.

LEWIS DUNK 7/10

Plenty of sound defending at the heart of the back line as Albion came under increasingly heavy pressure but Geldhardt had just enough craft to set up the late equaliser.

MARC CUCURELLA 7/10

Another valuable lesson in his season-long education about the demands of the Prem. Again, he passed the test and a last-ditch challenge on Raphinha was worth a goal as he forced the Brazilian to shoot wide.

SOLLY MARCH 7/10

Dragged a great chance wide on the left foot but then produced great work to set up a similarly good opening for Gross. Decent again down the right or moving infield into handy areas.

MOISES CAICEDO 6/10

Some good, combative work in the first half as Albion established a control of the game but was less of a factor in the second. Will have benefited for this experience.

YVES BISSOUMA 8/10

Fabulous work on the Albion goal as he won the ball, carried it forward and then played a perfectly timed and weighted pass into Welbeck’s path. That was part of a typically strong display in attack and defence.

ALEXIS MAC ALLISTER 6/10

Went close in the first half with a clever back header and was part of an Albion side who attacked with menace and kept the ball well under pressure. Faded as an influence in the second half.

PASCAL GROSS 6/10

Drilled a chance at Meslier during that Albion domination playing towards the Kop and generally had a fairly quiet afternoon.

LEANDRO TROSSARD 7/10

Always a potential threat coming in off the left. Set up that March chance and looked like he would score himself before a last-ditch tackle thwarted him. Drilled an effort not far away from the top corner in the second period.

DANNY WELBECK 7/10

The life of a goalscorer. Produced a very high class finish in the first half which looked like being the winner but headed a great chance wide when he should have killed the contest. A good outlet with his movement and intelligence.

SUBS – ADAM WEBSTER 6/10

Flung himself at one shot and did pretty well when sent on to make a back four as Leeds upped the pressure.

ADAM LALLANA N/A

Sent on to help re-assert some control and he did so quite a while before Leeds staged their late onslaught.

TARIQ LAMPTEY N/A

So close to a last-kick winner with his low, angled drive.
