Crawley Town have announced big reductions on ticket prices as they look to bring the crowds back next season.

Adults season ticket holders will pay as little as £11 per game for terrace admission or about £15 for a seat in the stand.

The club will be raising the age limit for free admission for youngsters, when accompanying a paying adult, from 12 to 15.

They have cut season ticket costs by up to 34% and there is also a reduction to matchday prices.

Season tickets will be on sale from 10am on Monday.

Those who buy before July 8 can also claim two free tickets for a league game of their choice.

Crawley plan to team up with as yet unspecified local non-league clubs, where Reds season ticket holders can enjoy a reduction on admission prices.

The announcement comes in a week of fresh starts for Crawley as they appointed Kevin Betsey and Dan Micciche as their new management duo.

Crawley's average attendance last season of 2,293 was the second lowest in League Two, ahead of only Salford City.

Co-chairman Preston Johnson said: “Since taking over the club, we’ve spent a lot of time meeting and listening to our supporters.

“One thing we’ve heard loud and clear is that tickets have simply been too expensive for most fans to come out to matches on a regular basis.

“We want to change that.

“Our biggest goal is to continue growing the passionate community that exists around this club.

“It’s hard for us to do that if we can’t get more people to the ground on gameday.

“We hope these ticket price cuts will make it easier for our fans to come out and cheer on their Red Devils this season as we embark on a new era together.”

Adult season tickets are priced £289 for seats and £255 for the terrace.

Young adults (aged 16-20) will pay £85 for the season in all areas.

Adult matchday admission will cost £17 for seats and £15 on the terrace.

Johnson added: “It shouldn’t cost an arm and a leg to take your kids to a football game.

“By significantly cutting ticket prices overall and expanding our free ticket program for youth supporters, we hope this represents a first step toward Crawley Town becoming the most family-friendly club in the Football League.”

Dining hospitality season tickets cost £1,035 – which works out at £45 per game if you attend every fixture – while the price for an individual match is £55. Discounts apply for under-16s.
