Brighton Racecourse have secured sponsorship for their three-day festival in August.
Star Sports, a Brighton and Hove-based betting company, will back the event.
The Star Sports Festival of Racing will begin on Wednesday, August 3, where the feature race will be the Brighton Mile.
Thursday is Ladies Day before the festival concludes on Friday.
Clerk of the course Stephanie Wethered said: “It’s fantastic to host a local business such as Star Sports as our named sponsors for one of the biggest meetings in our calendar.
“It’s hugely important to us as a smaller racecourse to gain the right sponsorship and to be able to do that with a local firm is so important to what we’re about at Brighton.”

Luke Tarr, head of PR at Star Sports, added: “As a local Brighton and Hove business we’re delighted to be sponsoring the three-day Festival of Racing at Brighton.
“We’re committed to engaging with the community in the build up to the event and during the festival itself, so we’re going to be offering the public the chance to win tickets and even possibly name some races!
“We see this as a privilege to bring something that will be pretty special to the local community. The only thing to do now is cross our fingers and hope we get the usual Brighton August weather.”
The Brighton Mile is the most valuable race on the venue’s calendar and was last year won by Nicola Currie on 8/1 shot Zulu Girl.
