Leo Ostigard is on a high for his country — as Napoli keep tabs on the Albion defender.

Ostigard helped Norway beat Sweden 3-2 yesterday to strengthen their position at the top of their UEFA Nations League B group.

He has played the full 90 minutes in all four group games in the current international window, helping in wins over Sweden (twice) and Serbia.

There was also a 0-0 draw with Slovenia, one of two clean sheets in the four games.

Ostigard spent the second half of last season on loan at Genoa.

Now Napoli are understood to still be very keen on his services after on-loan Axel Tuanzebe returned to Manchester United.

They are believed to be hopeful of securing the 22-year-old for less than £5 million although that could be optimistic on their behalf.

Former Albion striker Viktor Gyokeres scored an injury-time consolation for Sweden in yesterday’s game in Oslo.
