Albion prospect Kacper Kozlowski has been recognised as one of European football’s bright young talents.

The Polish midfielder is on the 100-man list for the Golden Boy prize run by Italian sports newspaper Tuttosport.

Barcelona and Spain star Pedri won the accolade last year and is on the list again.

The 100 also features his Barca colleagues Ansu Fati and Gavi, Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga, Harvey Elliott and Huge Ekitike, the Reims striker targeted by Newcastle.

The Golden Boy prize goes to the best player in European football under the age of 21 over the previous calendar year.

Kozlowski, 18, signed for Albion when the January window opened this year and then went on loan to Union St Gilloise.

Albion full-back Michal Karbownik made what was a 40-man list two years ago, when he was with Legia Warsaw, along with players including Phil Foden, Bukayo Saka, Vinicius Junior and Erling Braut Haaland.
