Tom Clark has been ruled out of Sussex’s return to Championship action.
The all-rounder suffered a hamstring injury playing for the 2nd XI against Essex last week.
Clark skippered the side and scored a century as they shared an exciting draw in Billericay.
But the quest to get him time in the middle before Derbyshire’s visit to Hove appears to have backfired.
He misses the first team contest which starts today (11am).
Our 14-player squad for our County Championship match starting tomorrow. 🙌
