A former Albion star has returned home – after 11 years overseas.
Tomer Hemed has signed for Israeli oufit Hapoel Beer Sheva.
Since leaving the Seagulls three years ago, he has played for Charlton and then enjoyed two productive seasons in the A-League.
Hemed, now 35, said: "After more than a decade of playing abroad, I decided to return to Israel and I am very happy to do so at Hapoel Beer Sheva.
“I played and even won at the Toto Turner Stadium in the Israeli national team kit and felt the special atmosphere in this stadium.”
