Crawley have signed former Arsenal and Coventry youngster Corey Addai after he impressed on trial.

Addai, now 24, has agreed two-year deal and will be expected to push long-time No.1 Glenn Morris for his place.

He was most recently with Esbjerg in Denmark and, while with Coventry, had loans at Barnsley and Chesterfield.

Addai played for Reds when they won 1-0 at Eastbourne Borough in their opening friendly.

He has joined the squad on their training camp in Spain.

Reds boss Kevin Betsy said: “We have been really impressed with Corey during his time with us.

“He has trained really well and adapted to the style of play that we are looking to implement, but most importantly, he is a great shot-stopper.

“He is really good inside the box and has a fantastic presence.”
