Albion defender Leo Ostigard is poised to complete a move to Napoli.

The centre-back looks set to return to Serie A, where he shone with lowly Genoa in the second half of last season.

Ostigard has attracted plenty of interest over the summer.

But he has always made it clear Napoli was his preferred option.

The Argus has been told this morning the deal remains “ongoing and not quite completed - but close”.

Sources in Italy are reporting an initial fee of about £4.2 million potentially rising to £7.6 million, which would be significantly more than Napoli were initially willing to pay.
