Levi Colwill has been backed to settle well on loan to Albion.
The Chelsea defender is on board for the season ahead of the opening game at Manchester United tomorrow (2pm, Sky Sports).
Graham Potter watched Colwill at times when he was on loan at Huddersfield and looks forward to working with the England under-21 international.
Albion’s head coach told The Argus: “We have been aware of him.
“The recruitment team has done a lot of work and I have watched him play a few times as well.
“I’ve watched him play for England as well.
“He is a young player with a lot of attributes that are very interesting for the highest level.
“We are looking forward to working with him and helping him enjoy his football.
“I think after the loan last year he is keen to play, keen to be involved, keen to be part of something and it is our job now to make him feel part of what we are doing here.
“I think he will fit in well with the group.
“They are open, welcoming people so I think he will be happy here and we will try and help him improve.”
