Sam Rents scored a superb winner as Albion Reserves beat QPR 1-0 at Loftus Road tonight.
Rents combined in style with fit-again Jonny Dixon 15 minutes into what coach Ian Chapman rated the second string's best display of the season.
Tommy Fraser was given 45 minutes and David Martot played almost the whole game while Dixon was only denied his first Albion goal by two fine saves.
Chapman said: "The way we passed the ball and the tempo we played at were a pleasure to see."
Apprentices Zak Beda and Andy Pearson both started in defence.
