Graham Potter has received this season’s first LMA Utilita Performance of the Week award.

The Albion head coach’s work in masterminding a 2-1 success at Old Trafford has been rewarded by a panel which included his predecessor Chris Hughton and former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

Potter saw the prize as deserved recognition of the work of his players and staff.

He said: “We were really pleased with the result against Manchester United, and it’s an honour for the team to be recognised by such a prestigious panel. I’d like to thank them, the LMA and Utilita for the award.”

The panel also included LMA chairman Howard Wilkinson, Rachel Yankey, Dave Bassett, Les Ferdinand, Clare Tomlinson and Barry Fry.
