Alexis Mac Allister wants to spread the word about the progress Albion are making.
He has revealed their win at Old Trafford was widely talked among football fans in his native Argentina.
Now he hopes and believes Graham Potter’s side are being widely recognised for the football they are playing and their results.
The Seagulls have four points from a possible six going into Sunday’s trip to West Ham.
Three of this season’s points came away to Manchester United before a global TV audience.
Mac Allister said: “Sure, it was talked about a lot (in Argentina).
“I think in Argentina as well as in other places, people are starting to recognise a bit more what this club is, the idea we have of playing.
“It is very important for us to do things well and for people to recognise us in England and other countries. It’s very beautiful."
Mac Allister joked about the game about picking up a win and a goal.
He said: “Unfortunately I scored an own goal because of bad luck.
“But the team feels good. It was an important win to give confidence, to kick start the season and hopefully we can keep going this way and keep making history for this club.”
