Albion's latest transfer link has been sparked by a well-known former player and agent in Spain.

The Seagulls are reportedly interested in Getafe striker Enes Unal.

Jose Antonio Martin Otin, now a director at Huesca, first mentioned Unal in relation to Albion on national radio in Spain.

There is no confirmation as to the truth in his comments.

Martin, better known by his nickname Peton, told Cadena Cope radio: "The team that is most aware of Enes Unal right now is Brighton.”

Getafe knocked back a bid from Fiorentina early in the window and reporters local to the club are not aware of Albion interest.

Unal, 25, is reported to have a buyout clause of 40 million euros but ‘Peton’ believes Getafe would accept about half that to help them sign their own target, Umar Sadiq of Almeria.

There are wildly conflicting accounts as to whether Unal is keen to move on.
