Moises Caicedo is relishing his Latin American midfield link-up.

The Ecuador international has established an impressive double act with Alexis Mac Allister.

Caicedo strode forward to help create the winning goal against Leeds while his sidekick from Argentina held the fort.

Caicedo said: “I feel very good with him, because we speak the same language.

“I feel very comfortable. He is always guiding me and I’m guiding him.”

The pair are from opposite ends of their continent but Caicedo said: “This doesn’t change anything.

“We understand each other very well on the pitch and that’s important.

“Now we are team-mates and we are working in the best way.

“When I attack he stays, or when he attacks I stay.

“There is always very good communication.”

Caicedo highlighted the importance of Albion’s steely defensive record in their flying start to the season.

He enjoyed a third successive clean sheet and said: “Very tough, like all games are. We managed to handle it well.

“We had moments when they won the ball off us but we were very strong at the back and that is very important.”

Caicedo insisted there were no great concerns when the Seagulls reached half-time still on level terms.

He added: “No, we knew not all games are the same. Some are harder than others.

“The important thing is to keep it at nil at the back and stay firm.
