Martin Ling had sympathy for the man who handed Albion their game-saving penalty.

But the Leyton Orient boss had no arguments with the final score after Adam Chambers' handball helped the Seagulls grab a 1-1 draw.

Ling said: "We were just waiting for the fourth official to put the board up and then Chambo ... it was definite handball.

"I'm gutted for him really because Adam is one of the lads who gets about the pitch more than anybody and he was trying to protect our lead.

"I think they edged the first half and we edged the second so, even though it was a cruel late goal, it was probably a fair result."

Ling revealed he told his recalled keeper Glenn Morris to launch quick counter attacks if he got the ball from Albion set peices.

He added: "It was a good move from back to front.

"I thought our chance had gone just before that when Jabo (Ibehre) had a really good chance at the back post."
