Robert Sanchez has issued a hugely impressive message to Albion fans and his former goalkeeping coach moved to Chelsea.

Graham Potter, the head coach who threw Sanchez into Premier League action, has taken charge at Stamford Bridge and taken staff with him.

They include highly-regarded goalkeeping coach Ben Roberts.

Sanchez has progressed from academy level to become a Prem regular and Spain international under Roberts’ daily guidance.

The Albion keeper was among several players who posted heartfelt farewells and message of thanks to Potter and colleagues via social media.

Sanchez wrote: “Things in life don’t always go our way, but now more than ever as a team we need to stay focused and together.

“I want to say thanks to Ben, Graham, Bruno, Billy and Bjorn for all you have done for me.

“Thank you for giving me the opportunity to become who I am today and a special thank you to Ben for being there in the good and bad moments for the last seven years. Wish all the best to the five of them.”
