Franck Haise and Bo Svensson are the latest coaches to be linked with the vacant Albion job.
Haise, 51, is the French coach of Lens, who are currently third in Ligue 1, and has moved to the upper reaches of the “next Brighton manager” odds.
While such markets can be volatile and an unreliable guide, Haise's footballing ideals appear similar to those which helped Graham Potter make progress with the Seagulls.
Svensson is believed to be under consideration.
The 43-year-old Dane is currently in charge at Mainz, who are sixth in the Bundesliga.
