Kaoru Mitoma has offered a timely reminder of the attacking threat he can pose for Albion.

The wideman scored a super goal for Japan as they beat the USA today.

He went on as sub 68 minutes into a friendly in Dusseldorf and scored 20 minutes later to complete a 2-0 win.

Picking the ball up out on the left, he ran at the defence, drifted infield between two defenders and expertly curled his shot inside the far post.

It was his fifth international goal in only his seventh appearance.

Mitoma will be hoping to prove he can play a part in Roberto De Zerbi’s plans as the Italian takes charge of Albion.
