Jurgen Klopp says Albion have “a really exciting” new coach in Roberto De Zerbi.

But he does not know what to expect in the Italian’s first game in charge.

The Seagulls return to action for the first time in almost four weeks as they visit Anfield tomorrow.

Liverpool boss Klopp said today: “Brighton did extremely well before and now they have a really exciting new manager.

“Brighton is doing an incredible job and he did an incredible job at Sassuolo and then at Shakhtar.

“Probably most people remember the game against Madrid, a really good game – and that’s him.

“He is a brave coach, he’s very influential.

“I don’t know how good his English is at the moment and that could be a bit of an issue.

“But, apart from that, his football idea suits Brighton.

“It’s a football-playing team.

“But we don’t know what we expect, obviously.

“How much is old Brighton and how much is new Brighton?

“The only thing we know is it’s a really good team and they were in a good moment before they couldn’t play anymore.”
