Patience paid off for Albion under-21s as they picked up a home win.

The Seagulls beat ten-man Tottenham 4-0 in Premier League 2.

Andrew Moran was a key figure. The Irish forward nicked the ball off Alfie Dorrington midway through the first half and was then brought down.

Torrington was shown a straight red card and the hosts went on to dominate the rest of the game in a strong wind and heavy rain.

They had to wait until the 66th minute for a breakthrough, Moran heading home a precise Luca Barrington cross after Jack Spong’s clever pass opened up the defence.

Moran crossed for Cam Peupion to head the second.

Todd Miller’s volley across goal deflected in off a defender for 3-0 before Ed Turns crashed home a late fourth on the volley.
