Roberto De Zerbi said he was happy for all his players after the 3-3 draw at Anfield.
The head coach admitted he was “very tired” after a first week at work with Albion.
Leandro Trossard completed his hat-trick after Liverpool had gone ahead through an unfortunate Adam Webster own goal.
De Zerbi said: “I’m happy for Webster because he had a great game, him and (Lewis) Dunk.
“(Solly) March changed from a forward player to more of a full-back.
“(Moises) Caicedo and (Alexis) Mac Allister grew as the game went on.
“(Danny) Welbeck fought for every ball.
“(Pascal) Gross also for me had a good game.
“He came off because he had worked so hard pressing.
“I’m happy with all the players.”
De Zerbi made just one line-up change compared to the last XI sent out by Graham Potter, Pervis Estupinan coming in for the unwell Enock Mwepu.
