Tony Harrington is heading back to the Amex to take charge of Albion's game at home to Tottenham.
The Cleveland-based official was in charge of the Seagulls’ most recent home fixture.
Although that ended happily for the hosts with a 5-2 win, there was confusion and outrage at one stage as Alexis Mac Allister had a spectacular goal ruled out for a very tight offside.
Harrington was put in a tricky spot as he was called to the pitchside monitor by video assistant Chris Kavanagh to make the final call.
Stuart Attwell will be on VAR duty for the early-evening kick-off against Spurs, which is live on Sky Sports.
The full officiating team for Albion v Spurs is as follows.
Referee: Tony Harrington. Assistants: Lee Betts, Marc Perry. Fourth official: Graham Scott. VAR: Stuart Attwell. Assistant VAR: Wade Smith.
