Roberto De Zerbi expects two of his defenders to make quick returns to action.
The Albion head coach revealed Levi Colwill and Jan Paul van Hecke have suffered minor injuries of late.
Speaking yesterday morning, he said: “Not big problems. Maybe van Hecke today comes back with the squad and Colwill I think Thursday, maybe.”
That could leave Ed Turns as again the main cover on the bench in terms of central defence as Albion face Nottingham Forest.
That was also the case at Brentford.
The defender from Hassocks is highly-rated and recently captained Wales under-21s.
De Zerbi said: “I really like him. I think Turns can play well with us, with me, with my idea of football.
“He is very young but I think there aren’t young players and old players.
“There are good players and bad players and Turns is a good player.”
