Graham Scott will take charge of Albion's game at Wolves.
He last refereed the Seagulls when they drew 0-0 at home to Newcastle early this season.
His first three games of the campaign were all goalless.
Scott has only refereed five fixtures this season - and just two in the Premier League.
Most recently, he had the whistle for Fulham’s 2-2 draw with Bournemouth.
Albion fans might recall him as the referee who bucked the VAR trend by going to the pitchside monitor at Tottenham and standing by his decision to allow a Tariq Lamptey goal.
John Brooks will be on VAR duty this time.
