Crawley have named Matthew Etherington as new first team manager.
He joins from Peterborough, where he was serving as under-23s boss.
He has signed an initial 18-month contract and will be assisted by Simon Davies Etherington said: “I am extremely excited. This is a great opportunity for both myself and Simon, and we are raring to go.
“I have had really positive discussions with the owners over a period of time.”
Reds had earlier announced the departure of interim Lewis Young He had made it clear he wanted the job on a more permanent basis.

Crawley did not have a game this weekend and are at home to Swindon in the league on Saturday.
