Albion expect their TWO players arriving from Argentina to be back in business quickly.

Alexis Mac Allister is heading back to England after his World Cup exploits followed by a celebration and holiday.

Facundo Buonanotte will also link up with Roberto De Zerbi’s squad when the January window opens.

Head coach De Zerbi said of Mac Allister’s return: “I don’t know but I think in the next two or three days, but it is not important one day before or two days before.

“The most important is when he arrives here he is ready to play, to train with the right mentality, the right head.

“But I haven’t doubt because he is a fantastic guy and there will be no problem.”

Buonanotte, who turned 18 last week, is arriving from Rosario Central and De Zerbi expects him to settle quickly.

He said: “In the next days, he will start to train with us.

“Argentinean players are hot blood. They don’t suffer (with) this change.”

Asked whether Buonanotte will be ready to play, he added: “I think, I hope.”

Albion chief executive and deputy chairman Paul Barber said Mac Allister is looking forward to resuming his Prem season.

He told The Argus: “I spoke to his father a few days ago.

“He said Alexis was looking forward to getting back, training, seeing his team-mates and playing again.

“I think as always with professional athletes, they hit a high – and it’s an incredible high – but then they just want to get back to the day job, which is playing week in and week out.

“Alexis is very much in that frame of mind.”
