Roberto De Zerbi was quick to stand by Robert Sanchez after his error at Crystal Palace.
And Albion fans were equally supportive after the 1-1 draw.
Sanchez failed to hold on to Michael Olise’s free-kick and James Tomkins took full advantage to head the hosts level in a game the Seagulls dominated.
De Zerbi hugged Sanchez at full-time.
The head coach told reporters: “Robert is a fantastic goalkeeper.
“He can make mistakes for sure, it’s not a problem.

“I make more mistakes than him, for this it is not a problem for me.”
Albion fans sang Sanchez’s name as the players left the pitch – and the goalkeeper turned towards them to show his appreciation.
Skipper Lewis Dunk and back-up goalkeeper Jason Steele were among those to approach Sanchez and show support at full-time.
