Pascal Gross has been praised for a “world class” finish which helped Albion hammer Wolves.

The German midfielder flicked up a pass from Julio Enciso and then fired it past Jose Sa from outside the box.

That goal impressed Match Of The Day pundit Martin Keown as he waxed lyrical about the Seagulls’ performance in their 6-0 success.

Keown said Gross “doesn’t really get enough credit”.

The former Arsenal and Albion defender said: “What about this for a finish? This is world class.

“You won’t see a better goal anywhere in Europe this weekend.

“It’s top drawer. It’s not the easiest of balls to deal with but he just tees it for himself and hits across it – fantastic finish.

“They just got better and better.”

Keown said two-goal Danny Welbeck is “a fantastic role model” but struggled to choose a man of the match.

He said: “There are so many star players, it’s really difficult to pick out the best.

“But Gilmour started everything off lovely in that midfield.

“He was threading passes.

Enciso was another one. This is a real talent, this player.”
