Robert Sanchez has been told he can have a future with Albion – if he wants it.
The goalkeeper has been absent from recent Premier League games at his own request.
Asked whether there is a way back for him, head coach Roberto De Zerbi said: “If he wants, for sure, but I decide the first XI.
“Robert is a top, very good guy, and I still have a good relationship with him, but my work is to decide the first XI and I’ve always been honest, correct with everybody.
“No-one can change my responsibility to decide the first XI.”
