Lewis Dunk is playing through discomfort as Albion head for a top-six finish.

The strong-but-quiet skipper is again expected to lead his side out at home to Manchester City tonight.

If he does not make it, it won’t be because he is being rested.

Head coach Roberto De Zerbi said: “I would like him to be more open. He doesn’t speak a lot but he is an example in the dressing room and on the pitch.

“He is playing with some problems in his calf, in his back, but he is playing every game.

“He can start on the bench (tonight) but, if he can play with me at Brighton, he has to play - always.”

The Argus:

Adam Webster will be on the bench and is fit to play part of the game.

De Zerbi could face a decision on the right side of attack where Julio Enciso was replaced at half-time during the win over Southampton.

Predictions as to how Manchester City will line-up appear to vary.

They could go all guns blazing or there is also a case for making use of their lavish squad with the title now sewn up.

It appears Kalvin Phillips stands a good chance of midfield minutes.

Phil Foden, who scored a brilliant goal at the Amex two years ago, is also among those who could get chance to impress.

Nathan Ake remains an injury doubt for this game.
