Facundo Buonanotte says he is getting up to speed in the Premier League.

Now the young Argentinean midfielder hopes to reap the benefits of his end-of-term appearances.

Buonanotte will link up with the senior Argentina squad for two forthcoming friendlies in Asia.

He was disappointed to be withdrawn by Albion from the Under-20s World Cup but produced his best Prem performance yet in the 1-1 draw with Manchester City.

Buonanotte was added to the senior national squad on Monday for games against Australia in Beijing and Indonesia in Jakarta, his second such call-up.

He said: “It all happened very quickly.

“I’m living through a great moment, I’m enjoying it to the maximum because it is something incredible, a dream.

“I can already imagine myself having lunch and dinner next to those players. I want to share the changing room. It will be a great experience.”

Buonanotte joined Albion from Rosario Central in January.

He said: “It was hard. It was a big change because of the language and the physical preparation.

“I am adapting and doing what the professionals tell me to get there as quickly as possible.”

Buonanotte revealed why Roberto De Zerbi blocked him from linking up with the Under-20s.

“He told me I would be important and I would play.

“In the end he was right because I ended up playing quite a lot.

“On a personal basis, Alexis Mac Allister helped me a lot day to day.

“He is a star, as you always see on the pitch.”
