Albion have begun the summer rebuild of their WSL squad.

They have signed attacking player Pauline Bremer on a two-year deal.

Bremer, 27, was most recently with Wolfsburg and has also played for Manchester City, Lyon and Turbine Potsdam.

She scored four goals in her 21 appearances for Germany.

Head coach Melissa Phillips said: “She brings a wealth of experience in the women’s game across multiple leagues and has the winning mentality that we are trying to implement within our squad.

“We are certain that she will add value both on and off the pitch in the new season ahead and will strengthen our attacking line.”

Albion let go five senior players at the end of last season and a busy summer is expected.

They narrowly avoided the drop last season but club chairman Tony Bloom has made it clear he is still keen to establish the club among the WSL top four.

Bremer’s CV includes two Women’s Champions League trophies, a Frauen Bundesliga title, three DFB Pokal Cups, two Feminine Division 1 titles, a Women’s FA Cup, two Coupe de France Feminine and an FA Women’s League Cup.
