Aaron Connolly is poised for a permanent move to Hull City.
Tigers boss Liam Rosenior revealed plans to sign the Albion striker.
Connolly watched Hull in their pre-season friendly at MK Dons on Saturday.
He had an injury-interrupted stint on loan on Humberside in the second half of last season.
Rosenior, the former Albion defender, said: "Without going into too much detail, and I'm not being disingenuous or lying but Aaron was always in my thoughts.”
